The EDHEC research chairs involve a close partnership to conduct research in a specific subject of interest to the sponsor and a commitment with EDHEC over three years leading to international academic publications and also detailed summaries and position papers aimed at professionals, institutional investors and regulators.
The EDHEC research chairs include three types of actions:
1. Carrying out the research lead to both academic and professional publications.
2. Organising the dissemination of the research.
3. Organising conferences to present the work to the industry.
The Chair of Leadership and Managerial Competencies
Created in 2003 with the support of two partners: AUCHAN and REDCATS Group. In partnership with NYSE Euronext, SunGard and CACEIS Investor Services The objective of this research chair is to contribute to the academic debate on two aspects of the financial services directive that are believed to be crucial in light of current market and regulatory developments: development of a complete framework for analysing transaction costs; and detailed analysis of the consequences of market fragmentation.
